Florence County Parks & Recreation offers both flag football and tackle football with cheerleading for ages 6-12. Under the Florence County Parks & Recreation umbrella are 4 different parks that offer flag and tackle football with cheerleading: Timmonsville, Olanta, Pamplico and Johnsonville. Players are zoned to play at the various parks according to which boundary their physical address is included. Over 350 players participate in Fall football and cheerleading each year for Florence County. The registration fee is $35 per participant before the late fee.

Our Football leagues participate in South Carolina Athletic Programs for all-star tournaments.

All Florence County Volunteers (coaches, board members, team moms) must obtain NAYS certification that is current and up-to-date. Florence County Parks and Recreation offers 3 free clinics each year that is offered to prospective first-time coaches that also pays for one year’s worth of NAYS certification.
