When Florence County accepts applications from the public, job vacancies are posted with the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW). Applications are accepted through the Florence SCDEW Center located at 1558 W. Evans Street (phone: (843) 669-4271) or local SCDEW Centers, generally 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays.
