June 1999. Interstate. Van rollover
ejected 11 people. 6 ambulances
worked the call, 4 fatalities by end. |

June 1999. Same van
rollover,
as Sheriff's deputies assist
FCEMS and rescue squad. |

Rural highway. Car pulled out in
front of Law Enforcement vehicle.
Several fatalities. |

August 1999. SCDOT Truck,
car, and truck accident. Patient
extricated, severe femur fracture. |

August 1999. Second vehicle in
accident with SCDOT. No injuries
in this vehicle, surprisingly. |

Every EMT's nightmare. Kids on
a bus in a wreck. Thankfully,
they had just let the last one off. |

The top of this car was removed in
the accident. Surprisingly the top
of the driver was not removed. |

The entire rear of this car was
sliced off when it hit a bridge going
sideways. 4 people thrown out. |

1995 18 wheeler on car. Patient
extrication time prolonged, but
injuries turned out very minor. |

The tractor trailer rolled over part
of the way over this car, which is
where the driver is entrapped. |

This truck skidded on wet
pavement, and turned over on top
of this bridge, on top of the driver. |

Police assist EMS in trying to gain
access to a critical patient who is
taking his last breaths. |

Backup units arrive as access is
gained to the vehicle. Paramedic
is inside to stabilize patient. |

Now the other door is forced to
take the driver out, who is also
in very bad shape. |

This car followed the DOT truck
painting highway lines all the way
to the source. It proved fatal. |

extrication needed due to damage. |
