Medic Three is a 1999 Ford Diesel F-350 XLT Superduty Chassis manufactured by Wheeled Coach for the 1999 product year. It is a Type I module with a strobe package all around, and Eurocab styling. It features vertical backboard storage, and interior/exterior access to the compartment used for walk-in equipment.

Florence County EMS Medic Three is stationed at 940 Old Ebenezer Road. Florence, SC 29501. The move to this new station was completed September 3, 2004. The present Station Supervisor is Lt. Jason Smith. This is a 24 hour full time ALS unit. It responds to calls mainly in the western portion of the city of Florence, and suburban and shopping areas to the west. This unit also responds to many calls on the interstate, as I-95 and I-20 run through this district. Florence City Fire Department, Ben Dozier Station accompanies this unit in a first responder role on all calls inside the city limits. West Florence Fire Department, Florence Rescue Squad, and Howe Springs Fire and Rescue respond in their respective areas as a first responder agency for all other calls.
