Medic Six is a 1998 Ford Diesel F-350 XLT
Superduty Chassis manufactured by Wheeled
Coach for the 1999 product year. It is a Type I
module with a strobe package all around, and
Eurocab styling. It features vertical backboard
storage, and interior/exterior access to the
compartment used for walk-in equipment.

Florence County EMS Medic Six is stationed in an office structure on the grounds of the old Hannah-Pamplico Middle School, on Hickory Street, Pamplico.  The present Station Supervisor is  Lt. Billy Collins.  This is a 24 hour full time ALS unit. Its primary response area is the town of Pamplico and the southeastern rural areas of the county around it. It is also a backup to Johnsonville Rescue. Pamplico Rescue and Hannah-Salem-Friendfield Fire District respond as first responder agencies in this service area. Additional first response agencies include  Johnsonville Fire Department, South Lynches Fire and Rescue, and Howe Springs Fire and Rescue.
