Medic Seven is a 1999 Ford Diesel V8 F-350 XLT Superduty Chassis with a rear section remount remanufactured by Trans-Med for the 1999 product year. It is a Type I module with a strobe package all around, and Eurocab styling. It features interior/exterior access to the compartments used for walk-in equipment.

Florence County EMS Medic Seven is stationed at the Headquarters of EMS, on 527 S. Church Street, Florence. The present Station Supervisor is Lt. Barrott Dowdy. This is a 24 hour full time ALS unit. It responds to calls mainly in the metropolitan area of the city of Florence, and suburban areas to the north and south of the city. Florence City Fire Department accompanies this unit in a first responder role on all calls. This unit is also responsible for a portion of I-95, and works with the Florence Rescue Squad and Howe Springs Fire and Rescue as first responder agencies in their respective service areas.
