FCEMS Headquarters, April 2, 2002

Florence County EMS employees work with our Explorer Troop. These youngsters are interested in careers in the medical field, and hope to improve their understanding by receiving training in how to act in an emergency. They are receiving training in First Aid and CPR. They also attend special events with FCEMS, to give us a larger presence in the crowds. In time, they will be allowed to ride on a unit in an assistance role, to get an eye for what it is really like on the street and in the back of the truck.
