The Florence County EMS Employee Christmas
Party was held on December 19, 2000, in the
Classroom at EMS Headquarters.
Many employee's attended, with their spouses,
dates, or kids. Seems we have a large crowd
of kids in the same age range - small -, which
always makes for a lively party.
Here are the things that were available to eat.
The Director bought a large honey glazed
ham, and other employees brought whatever
they specialized in. Since some of our
employees are quite accomplished chefs, this
resulted in a wide variety of dishes, all
guaranteed to raise your cholesterol.
Here is Linda Reynolds, who won one of the
doorprizes, a gift basket with candy, food,
and knickknacks. She was on duty, and was
only able to stop by for a short while, but it
was long enough! Stiver Powell won the other
basket, but managed to elude me getting him
in a shot somehow.
Here Director Gary Horn presents the award
for Medic of the Year to Caren Turbeville.
Caren is a Crewchief on Shift B, currently
running on Medic 1 in East Florence. She
was voted Medic of the Year in a poll of
all employees. Congratulations Caren!
