Florence County Council
Standing Committees

The Chairman shall appoint the standing committees of Council as an expression or request from members of Council as to which committee they would like to serve on. When more than three members of Council request to be placed on a committee, the selection shall be made as follows:

1. One (1) member requested who has the longest seniority
2. One (1) member requested who has the least seniority
3. One (1) member being appointed by the Chairman
