| Town of Timmonsville |

 The
Town of Timmonsville is in the western section of Florence
County, ten miles from Florence. Timmonsville by US Highway 76
which intersects I-95 four miles east of the Town and by SC
State Highway 403 which accesses I-20 about 10 miles north of
the Town. Timmonsville sponsors the Country Christmas Festival
the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Timmonsville is a community of approximately 2,598 residents
(1994).
