Area Transportation Study (FLATS)
Policy Committee has approved the
Long Range Transportation Plan
and is now holding a period of
public comment on the plan beginning
May 8, 2006 and ending June 7, 2006.
A copy of the Long Range
Transportation Plan is available for
viewing Monday through Friday
between the hours of 8:30 am and
5:00 pm at the Florence
County/Municipal Planning Department
located at 218 W. Evans Street,
Florence. It is also available at
Quinby Town Hall, 611 E. Ashby Road,
Quinby, or by viewing it through
this website. Please submit any
comments to: FLATS, 218 W. Evans
Street, Florence, SC 29501 or call
(843) 676-8600. You can fill out
this public
comment page
and submit it. After this public
comment period, the FLATS Policy
Committee will hold a public hearing
for final comments and to review the
final Long Range Transportation Plan
on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 10:00
AM at the City/County Complex, 180
North Irby Street, Room 803,
Florence. Due to file size, the
second appendix of the Long Range
Plan can be seen by clicking
here.
Also
on the agenda for this meeting is
the approval of the
Transportation Improvement Program
(TIP). This is available for
public review and comment starting
May 22, 2006 through the date of the
meeting during the same hours and at
the same locations shown above.
