SCDHEC, new instructional signs in Spanish have been placed at
the 15 Manned Solid Waste Convenience Centers. For
the convenience of Florence County residents only (please no
businesses), the County has 7 locations for waste tire recycling: the
Manned Solid Waste Convenience Centers of Airport, Quinby, Timmonsville
(1840 S. Warren Street), Pamplico, Lake City, Effingham and
Johnsonville. Up to five tires per person may be dropped off at a site.
